History of St. John’s Church
Situated in a peaceful valley near Bartonsville, Pennsylvania, St. John’s Church remains relatively unchanged since constructed by our forefathers in 1892. From inception until 1972, St. John’s remained a part of the Lutheran church. After withdrawing from the Northeast Synod of the Lutheran Church in January 1973, the congregation voted to join the Evangelical Congregational Church in February of that year. St. John’s has remained a member of the E.C. Church https://eccenter.com/ for over 50 years.
